Granite soils, natural energy
Granite gives tension and pure fruit expression — the hallmark of the great Beaujolais crus.
The estate covers 16 ha of Gamay across five communes in northern Beaujolais.
Breakdown: approx. 12 ha Brouilly, 1.5 ha Beaujolais-Villages, 1 ha Chiroubles, 0.5 ha Regnie, and 1 ha Cote de Brouilly acquired in 2025.
The estate appellations
Brouilly is the largest of the ten Beaujolais crus. Its wines are fruity, round and easy-drinking, marked by cherry and raspberry.
Chiroubles, at 400 m altitude, is the most aerial cru: floral, silky, best enjoyed young.
Regnie, the youngest cru (recognised 1988), produces supple and fruity wines of great accessibility.
Cote de Brouilly, on the slopes of Mont Brouilly, offers more structured wines with a distinctive minerality from the blue diorite schist.
